An Introduction to Working with Families, Infants, and Young Children
FNU and FAIMH are bridging the gap and bring students and industry leaders together. An effective healthcare, psychology, and forensic workforce requires strong alignment between emerging students and established community leaders. On October 13th (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM), Florida National University (FNU) and the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health (FAIMH) are hosting a hybrid event designed for diverse students and professionals: "An Introduction to Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health."
Why this collaborative space matters:
- Medical, Psych & Forensic Students: Discover the specialized social-emotional needs of children prenatal to age 5, and learn how to jumpstart your career with a specialized Infant or Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® credential.
- Industry Professionals: Reconnect with the local network. Leaders from Citrus Health, the University of Miami, and the Early Learning Coalition have already RSVP'd.
- Future Careers: This event offers a unique landscape for faculty, students, and employers to network for future job placements and collaborative community health initiatives.
Trainer: Dr. Noemi Marquez, LCSW, IMH-E®, FNU Psychology Program Head & FAIMH Miami Chapter Co-Chair
