FAIMH is pleased to announce that we bringing ZERO TO THREE's  Certified DC:0-5 Training of Trainers (ToT) to Florida.

To be eligible to attend this ToT clinicians must have completed an official DC:0-5 two-day clinician training (which FAIMH hosted in 2017 in Tampa and 2018 in Miami) or DC:0-5 Extended Day Training. This project will allow for a greater number of qualified, certified DC:0-5 trainers in Florida thus increasing access to training and sustainability in the State. Trainers will also have the opportunity to be supported in using the official DC:0-5 Training curriculum and materials with fidelity.

The Florida DC:0-5 ToT is sponsored by the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health and University of South Florida. This project reflects Florida’s commitment to increasing the knowledge and skills of the early childhood mental health workforce. It is anticipated that certified trainers will be available to agencies and community organizations within their regions to provide this training to others.

The documentation required for ZERO TO THREE Trainer Certification varies based on the type and level of certification you are seeking. For the purposes of this opportunity, please download the Trainer Certification Overview: DC:0-5TM at www.zerotothree.org/trainercertification to help you confirm you meet the certification criteria, and are ready to provide necessary documentation. You will receive application status updates from the Learning Center.

If you feel you meet the criteria and are interested, then you are invited to apply to the ZERO TO THREE Certified DC:0-5TM Training of Trainers (ToT). In order to have your application considered to be a trainer, you must apply and be selected through ZERO TO THREE’s new Learning Center. The deadline for submission of applications for the Certified DC:0-5TM Training of Trainers is midnight (ET), Monday, April 1st. Notification of acceptance will be April 15th.
