Advancing Children’s Mental Health Access in Miami-Dade County:
Children's Mental Health Resource Guide Launch

Across sectors, professionals working with children are encountering the same challenge:
When a child needs help, it’s often unclear where to send them.
This Resource Guide is designed to close that gap.
Bringing together healthcare providers, educators, nonprofit leaders, juvenile services, and community partners, this convening will introduce the Miami-Dade Children’s Mental Health Resource Guide—a tool created to simplify referrals, improve coordination, and ensure children and families receive timely, appropriate support, from infancy through adolescence.
More than a launch, this is a session for Miami-Dade professionals and providers to:
- Learn about the low- or no-cost mental health services in Miami-Dade County
- Strengthen referral pathways and collaboration
- Align efforts to better serve children and families in our community
Together, we move from fragmentation to connection.
Hosted by:
The Community Services Department of Miami-Dade County
in collaboration with the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health
and the ACEs Special Committee of the Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Children’s Commission
