A FAIMH Member Benefit
We value you, and we want you to be well--for yourselves, your families and the children & families you serve.
Join us to learn and experience mindfulness practices that may help you reduce stress and anxiety, improve your effectiveness in your professional role, and increase your physical health and mental & emotional well-being. Mindfulness practice is simply the practice of paying attention, to the present moment, without judgment.
No experience necessary. All Members are welcome.
Monthly on 1st Tuesdays from 12:15-1:00pm Eastern. Hosted by Dr. Christine Hughes, FAIMH.
We will experience 2-3 practices over the 45-minute session, so if you are running late, still feel free to join - we are happy to have you.
This event may meet the following IMH Competencies that support your preparation to earn the Florida Infant Mental Health Endorsement:
Competency skill areas: Contemplation, Self-Awareness, Listening (All Categories)
(Note: each applicant determines which experience has helped them meet the required competencies during the Endorsement® application process; FAIMH cannot definitively state that a specific competency will be met because it is based on each individual’s experience during each session.)
