Holding Hope for Ourselves: Reflect, Refresh and Renew
"Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future." — Robert H. Schuller
On December 1st, FAIMH invites you to join us for a half-day learning experience that's designed just for you to stop for a moment, reflect, refresh, and leave feeling renewed. You will connect across your shared experiences with others in our community of professionals who work with, or on behalf of, young children & families in Florida.
Being a professional who serves other people in today's world can be difficult--you hold more than your share of trauma, heartache, and fear. Despite our passion and enthusiasm, there is always more to be done, more people to serve, with less resources. Being the manager of a team or leader of an organization that serves children & families often compounds the stress that you are holding.
Yet you also hold incredible hope, resilience and joy--for yourselves and the people you serve. Your FAIMH community is here to hold you, as you hold others. Our final professional development offering of the year gives you the time and space to reflect, process, rest and renew as this year is ending and a new year dawns. This live, experiential session will include several practices that will connect to your internal wellspring of hope, joy and strength. These 3 hours will serve as a retreat to take care of yourself so that you may continue taking care of others.
Invite your colleagues to join, register and find a space to spend the time together on Dec. 1st without distractions.
