DESCRIPTION: Presents&hellip\; The Official DC:0-5 for Clinicians offered 
 online via Zoom. This is a perfect chance to learn about the DC:0-5 and 
 how it use it in your practice\, from the comfort of your home or office 
 (or home office)! Zero to Three's Diagnostic Classification of Mental 
 Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood 
 (DC:0-5&trade\;) is the first developmentally based system for diagnosing 
 mental health and developmental disorders in infants and toddlers. 
 Delivered by FAIMH Training Academy ZERO TO THREE Certified Trainers who 
 are highly qualified with strong clinical skills and training experience. 
 Topics include: Definitions of key concepts in infant and early childhood 
 mental health as they relate to diagnostic formulation and approaches. A 
 review of the multi-axial framework Approaches to infant and early 
 childhood assessment and diagnosis (developmentally appropriate\, 
 relational and family-focused\, contextually grounded\, culturally 
 competent\, and strengths-based). A brief review of: Axis 
 I&mdash\;Clinical Disorders Axis II&mdash\;Relational Context Axis 
 III&mdash\;Physical Health Conditions and Considerations Axis 
 IV&mdash\;Psychosocial Stressors Axis V&mdash\;Developmental Competence 
 Understanding DC:0&ndash\;5 in relation to other classifications such as 
 ICD-10 and DSM-5 Schedule &amp\; Agenda Note: This 12-hour training takes 
 place over three days. Day 1: Wednesday 8/19 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM EST live
  online Day 2: Thursday 8/20 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM EST live online Day 3: 
 Friday 8/21 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM EST live online NOTE: The DC:0-5 Manual -
  A digital copy of the manual will be provided to you however if you wish 
 to purchase a hard copy on your own\, please do so with enough time that 
 you have it for Day 1 of the training. You may purchase from Zero to

 Trainer Dr. Alexandra Alfonso\, PsyD\, PMH‑C\, IMH‑E&reg\; Dr. Alfonso
  is a bilingual/bicultural Licensed Psychologist that has been working 
 with young children and their families for over 7 years. Dr. Alfonso 
 serves as the Clinical Supervisor and Infant &amp\; Early Childhood Mental
  Health Lead for Citrus Health Network's Early Childhood Development 
 program. Dr. Alfonso's expertise includes social emotional skill 
 development\, school readiness\, relationship based interventions\, trauma
  informed care\, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders\, teacher/caregiver 
 trainings\, and reflective supervision Location is online via Zoom Open to
  all FAIMH Members and Florida residents ONLY. (Zero to Three Trainer 
 Certification allows us to only train residents of our own state. Please 
 do not register for this training if you live outside of Florida.) This 
 training is for advanced practitioners such as mental health clinicians\, 
 mental health consultants\, social workers\, early intervention 
 specialists\, psychiatrists\, pediatricians\, and nurse practitioners 
 whose work with infants\, young children\, and their families involves 
 assessment\, diagnosis\, and case formulation. Registration FAIMH Member 
 Rate: $300 Non-Members Rate: $360 CEUs included at no cost - a savings of 
 $50! (see below for more CEU information) Technology Requirements: To 
 ensure the best possible experience for all participants\, the program 
 relies on online video conferencing\, which has minimum requirements to 
 work properly. You will need a desktop or laptop computer with speakers\, 
 microphone\, and webcam\, and a high-speed internet connection. Laptops 
 work best because they come with all the necessary equipment and can 
 easily be moved from room to room in your home or office to find a quiet

 Certificate: Upon successful completion of the DC 0-5 series\, a 
 certificate of completion will be earned. A certificate will only be 
 provided to those who attended the full 3-session training series (12 
 hours). CEUs: Continuing education (12 hours) for licensed clinical social
  workers\, marriage &amp\; family therapists\, and mental health 
 counselors will be offered by the Florida Association for Infant Mental 
 Health\, an approved provider for continuing education by the Florida 
 Board of Clinical Social Work\, Marriage &amp\; Family Therapy\, and 
 Mental Health Counseling (CE Provider # 50-30846) Continuing education (12
  hours) for psychologists will be offered by the Florida Association for 
 Infant Mental Health\, an approved provider for continuing education by
