What Every Child Needs: Trauma-Informed Care for Infants and Young Children Description: This training extends the exploration of the impact of trauma on infants and young children\, and introduces Trauma-Informed Care strategies and practices. Participants will explore the impact of stress on the body\, and how early experiences influence development and behavior. The session explores how professionals can use a &ldquo\;trauma-informed lens&rdquo\; when supporting children\, especially children with challenging behaviors. Participants will build strategies to respond with compassion and support healthy relationships\, resilience\, and positive infant mental health outcomes. Learning Objectives: Describe the impact of trauma and stress on infants&rsquo\; and young children&rsquo\;s development and behavior.
