An Introduction to the Period of PURPLE Crying: The Sound Parents Thought They Would Hear, Just Not THIS Much

Description:

The Period of PURPLE Crying is an evidence-based shaken baby syndrome/abusive head trauma prevention program implemented in Florida by health care providers and community organizations in partnership with Prevent Child Abuse Florida. Developed by the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome, the program helps caregivers understand their baby’s increased crying and prevents abusive head trauma from shaking a baby in frustration. Get trained in PURPLE to better support new and expectant parents in your community.
