 Introduction to Reflective Supervision and Consultation 

This 1-hour training is intended for anyone who is interested in learning about the basics of reflective supervision/consultation (RSC) for professionals who work in the infant and early childhood field.  This session will provide an overview of reflective supervision/consultation, including the core components, the benefits to professionals, and the development of reflective supervisory relationships.

Instructor: Cindy Brown, LCSW, MPH, IMH-E®

Cindy is Florida Association for Infant Mental Health (FAIMH)’s Endorsement Coordinator. She is responsible for the oversight of FAIMH’s Infant Mental Health Endorsement infrastructure. She supports professionals working with and on behalf of infants 0-5 and their families by promoting the evidenced-based and best practice infant mental health. Additionally, Ms. Brown owns a private practice in Winter Park where she helps families establish safe and secure relationships and heal from complex trauma.

Endorsement: This training may meet IMH Competencies that support your preparation to earn the Florida Infant Mental Health Endorsement.

Certificate: Upon successful completion of the training, a certificate of completion will be earned. A certificate will only be provided to those who attended the full training session (1 hour). 

Technology Requirements:

To ensure the best possible experience for all participants, the program relies on online video conferencing, which has minimum requirements to work properly. You will need a desktop or laptop computer with speakers, microphone, and webcam, and a high-speed internet connection. Laptops work best because they come with all the necessary equipment and can easily be moved from room to room in your home or office to find a quiet place.
